Over the years, I have created many marine boat, harbour and sea themed paintings with inspiration primarily taken from family holidays and my travels around the world.
I can sit for hours around water, watching the light reflections, sketching ideas for future paintings. Below are some examples of my work.
Resting
I enjoy painting boats and always find myself spending hours and hours in harbours whilst on holiday
Helping Hand
I got the idea to paint this scene from watching my children playing on boats whilst on holiday in Italy.
Biding Time
I always find boats bobbing around in the harbour very relaxing. I was in Greece at the time I created the sketches for this painting
Safe Anchor
I find scenes like this are typical in the Mediterranean.
Harbour Catch
This scene was developed when I was in the harbour on holiday one evening watching a fisherman pulling his nests in to check the days catch.
Inquisitive Minds
Two boys having a nosy in a boat.
Tomorrows Tale
There is always a tale to tell after a days fishing
The Next Plan Is
"So what shall we do next?"... there is always an adventure around the corner when you are young.
Tranquillity
A calm warm evening on Mouse Island, near Greece.
